Trump accounts invest in America...
This week, Trump unveiled Trump Accounts: a new program that invests money into the next generation.
I think it’s one of the most brilliant moves he’s made.
In a nutshell, under this program the government will invest $1,000 into tax-advantaged investment accounts for every American child born between January 2025 and December 31 2028.
Per the IRS, Trump Accounts are designed to “give the next generation a jump start on saving”
But these aren't the “baby bonds” of the 20th century, and it’s definitely not social security.
Trump accounts “allow for private ownership, multiple funding pathways, and direct investment across a broad swath of the American economy,” according to Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent.
So what can we expect from Trump Accounts looking ahead to the future?
